Description

VIRGIN KILLER is the fourth studio album by the Scorpions, released at the end of 1976, and is the bands shortest album with a length of 35 minutes. It is the second album made in collaboration with producer Dieter Dierks and was another step away from psychedelic influences and towards hard rock. The title VIRGIN KILLER refers to the idea that time is the killer of innocence. The album reached 32 on the Japanese album charts and was the first Scorpions album to be certified gold in Japan. VIRGIN KILLER was remastered with special sensitivity from the original tapes and is now released as a 180g 1LP, pressed on skyblue vinyl. Scorpions is available for home delivery from Vinyl Records London, only £25 +P&P

Vinyl

Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.

Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
