The musicians resisted and barricaded themselves inthe studio for almost three years, where they worked meticulously with producer Dieter Dierks on the successor.On SAVAGE AMUSEMENT, the Scorpions presented themselves more mature and demonstrated that theybelonged to the avantgarde of hard rock more than ever in terms of production technology. Despite all thechanges, the album was still a typical Scorpions work a good pinch of barely restrained aggression and dynamics,beautiful harmonies and melodies, brilliant guitars and of course Klaus Meines unique voice. No wonder thatSAVAGE AMUSEMENT, released on 16 April 1988, seamlessly continued the success of the previous albums andbecame another worldwide hit.SAVAGE AMUSEMENT is now released as a 180g 1LP, pressed on transparent light blue vinyl.
