Picking up right where they left off over ten years ago, Welcome To The Rest Of Your Life sees Little Man Tate deftly tap into the bands original unremitting magic with a fresh, fullygrown twist.Available on vinyl, cassette, CD and digital from 17 November 2023, the record captures the fourpieces original indie charm with a nod to the lives, loves and losses theyve experienced during their time on hiatus. As frontman Jon Windle explainsWe became known for writing observational songs with interesting characters in them, often based on people we knew or had met. When we sat down and started writing again we didnt want to move away from that, but we are 15 years down the line now so reference points change. Weve been through marriages, loss, having kids, some of us getting divorced, and I think that comes across in the music. Its still Little Man Tate its just Little Man Tate a bit more grown up Earlier this year the band also shared the first bit of new material to be taken from the album, Undercover Lovers. A playful hark back to the golden days of indierock, the rampant rollercoaster of a track sees runaway riffs thread their way through playful, bouncing choruses and Little Man Tates distinct tongueincheek take on storytelling. Little Man Tate Cassette is available for home delivery from Vinyl Records London, only £6.99 +P&P
A cassette tape is a nostalgic format that continues to hold a special place in music culture. Known for its warm, analogue sound and compact design, cassettes offer a unique listening experience that many audiophiles cherish. Their physical nature and simple playback process—complete with the iconic “tape hiss”—add a layer of authenticity that digital formats can’t replicate.
Cassette tapes also evoke a sense of nostalgia, bringing back memories of mixtapes, car rides, and the early days of music discovery. Collecting cassettes allows music enthusiasts to connect with the past while embracing the charm of a format that was once central to the music industry. Whether you’re seeking vintage classics or exploring modern releases on tape, cassettes remain a beloved part of music history.
