Ghost Reveries is the eighth studio album by Swedish progressive metal band Opeth and was originally released in August 2005.Ghost Reveries is the first album by Opeth to include keyboardist Per Wiberg although Wiberg contributed keyboard work to Opeths live performances starting around the time of Lamentations and it is the last Opeth album to include drummer Martin Lopez and longtime guitarist Peter Lindgren. The album marks a temporary return to the progressive metal styles of the previous albums. However, it still includes some of the progressive rock elements of Damnation.Ghost Reveries was initially intended to be a concept album, with numerous tracks linking together a story of a mans turmoil after committing an unconscionable act, symbolised by killing his own mother.Ghost Reveries is available as a limited numbered edition of 4.000 copies on silver & black marbled vinyl and includes a poster & 4 page booklet. Stuff About Black Vinyl

The timeless standard. Black vinyl remains the benchmark for quality and tradition — pressed to perfection for decades, offering the most consistent playback and durability. Essential for every collection.

Stuff About Double Vinyl

Twice the wax, double the depth. Double LPs spread music across two records to preserve sound quality and include bonus tracks, alternate takes, or extended mixes. A premium choice for albums that deserve more space to breathe.

Stuff About Heavyweight LP

Pressed on thicker, higher-grade vinyl — often 180 grams — for improved durability and fidelity. Heavyweight LPs reduce surface noise and deliver a deeper, more stable sound, making them a preferred choice for serious listeners.
